Monthly Guild Meeting - Baby Bundles Sew In

Baby Bundles Sew In is one of several community service projects the guild sponsors. Our guild provides quilts to agencies that promote the health and wellbeing to families with newborns as well as an agency that facilitates services for abused children. The charities then distribute each quilt to infants and children within their programs.
  • Travis County WIC breast feeding support clinics
  • Healthy Families - Travis County Agency for First child - infant to 3 yrs old
  • Children's Advocacy Center - Children on their way to foster homes, all ages
What Can Members Bring To The Sew-In?
Standard hand sewing kit (scissors, standard sewing needles if you plan to sew on labels; large-eyed embroidery or crewel needles if you plan to tie)
    Embroidery thread-if you have some you can donate, please bring it
      Fabrics you want to donate that are appropriate for babies
        Your completed quilt or quilt top if you took a kit home
          For those who sign up to machine sew, bring your sewing machine with a walking foot if you want to help envelope quilts, or regular foot if you'll be sewing on labels or making tops
