Silent Auction

The Silent Auction is one of the most enjoyable features of the QuiltFest. It is a showcase for the talents of generous members and bees. Contributions include wall hangings, finished quilts, quilt kits, and many other quilting related items and embellishments.

All items are open for bidding. Please bid high and often! While some items will be open for short term bidding, other donations will remain open for bidding for a longer period of time. Be sure to check your favorite item for bid closing day and time. Popular items may also be available for Buy it Now!

The auction sale closes at 5:00 pm on Friday and Saturday and 3:00 pm on Sunday. Successful bidders are notified at the show at closing time or by telephone that evening.

For guild members, it is an opportunity to acquire items made by fellow members of the guild. For shoppers who love quilted items, but do not participate in this craft, it is a chance to obtain high-quality art work that matches or exceeds what is available in gift shops in both workmanship and beauty.

The Silent Auction is one of the top five largest money-making projects for the show so we need your continued support to donate items and place bids during the show.

Silent Auction (SA) Chairs are accepting donation valued ≥ $75 that will tickle the fancy of QuiltFest attendees. Don’t do it alone . . . invite your friends or bee members to join you in creating a Silent Auction donation.

Do you have items to donate but are not sure how to present them? We are happy to create a custom gift basket using your items or possibly combining yours with other donations.
Do you have a UFO that needs a home? Get it done and donate your finished master piece!
Do you have a large purchase from a shop hop but you don’t want your husband to find out? Donate it to SA (we won’t tell him)!
Did you start a Workshop project and realize it’s the wrong size for your bed? Donate it to SA!
Did you create a Workshop project and absolutely LOVE IT? Donate it to SA & share the love!
Do you have fabric that you ADORE but will never get around to using? Donate it to SA (we all need more stash)!
Do you have excess quilts piling up in your sewing room? Donate them to SA – we can help lighten your load!
Did you recently purchase a new machine? Donate your older model to SA!

Boutique

The Boutique is one of the major fund raisers for the Guild and we are asking members to donate items to be sold at the Boutique booth at the QuiltFest this fall. The funds that are raised by the Boutique will help the Guild provide excellent speakers and teachers for the next two years.

To donate an item to the QuiltFest, please fill out a Boutique Donation Form to turn in with your item. The value of Boutique items is less than $75.
