Mountain Cabin - Peg Dunayer

This quilt was designed as a fund-raiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The quilt is based on a simple premise, it is a combination of Delectable Mountains, surrounded by Log Cabin blocks.  My teacher-fee will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.


Supply List:

Thread, scissors, rotary cutter, mat and ruler, sewing machine,

pencil, iron

Fabric for a 40" x 40" finished project.

Fabric A 1/8 yd (very light print)

Fabric B 1/4 yd (light print)

Fabric C 1/2 yd (medium print)

Fabric D 1/2 yd (dark print or solid)

Fabric E 1/2 yd (light solid or very, very light print)

Fabric F 2/3 yd (dark print)

2" (finished) half-square sheets or strips (enough for 112 sets) **

Backing

Batting

Binding

**NOTE: Teacher will supply Thangles kit for $15 fee

Since this piece is constructed entirely of 2-1/2" cuts or strips, a jelly roll

can be used for a very scrappy version, but there must be contrast

(light/dark) in the fabric grouping.

Fabric E is the designated Background fabric in this project
