Hand Piecing
Stitchers will be shown how to draft a very simple block and how to piece a block by hand.
Supply List:
Graph paper (4 squares per inch)
#2 pencil
Ruler (any straight edge)
Template plastic 4” x 12”
Sharpie pen (extra fine, any color)
Paper scissors
Fabric scissors
Needle (any size you are comfortable with)
Thread (cotton sewing – not quilting thread)
Thimble
Straight pins (not quilting straight pins)
2 fat quarters of fabric – any contrasting color
Sandwich bag
Pen and notepad
